Seafood Special For Two
Bluewater Grill in Carlsbad Village is celebrating October as National Seafood Month with a special three-course meal for two for just $65 through October 31. The month-long offer also honors Bluewater’s 26 years of serving the West’s freshest, certified-sustainable seafood, some of it caught in local waters by the restaurants’ own fishing boat, Pilikia.
Seafood lovers can opt for the Hearts of Romaine Caesar Salad, a cup of New England or Manhattan Chowder, or a glass of red or white house wine as a starter; a choice of eight classic entrees off the Bluewater menu or a new dish created for National Seafood Month; and a slice of house-made Key Lime Pie for dessert. Take a look at all the menu options here.
According to Bluewater co-founder and co-owner Jimmy “Jim U” Ulcickas, Bluewater’s obsession with freshness and sustainability makes a National Seafood Month menu a no-brainer. "Today, many restaurants claim to be fresh and responsible," he says. "But we are still the sustainability leader, one of the few pursuing a wholly sustainable menu while operating our own fishing boat, giving us more control over the fish we ultimately serve our customers. It’s a difference you can taste.”
