Wine + Gratitude
LA sommelier, Taylor Grant has launched a new Wine/Beverage Program and Happy Hour menu at Cafe Gratitude transitioning the trailblazing plant-based restaurant into an all-day (and night!) spot to enjoy a boozy brunch, Happy Hour, or a cozy dinner.
Grant’s new menu features her thoughtfully selected wine pairings alongside Chef Dreux’s plant-based menu. Grant was named one of Food & Wine’s Sommeliers of the Year in 2019 and has worked at many top LA restaurants (Osteria Mozza & Scopa to name a few), is the founder of Salutay Wine Club, and spearheads operations for TRESOMM Winery.
In response to the pandemic, Cafe Gratitude’s wine program was parred down to canned wine only, but now with Grant spearheading the new beverage menu, guests can also relax over a meal paired with new cocktails such as Gratitude Fiero Spritz ($13) made with Prosecco, Martini & Rossi Fiero Vermouth, Soda, and Orange or Rosé Spritz ($12) with Lorenza Rosé, Lillet Rosé, Prosecco, Soda, and Seasonal Fruit. Cafe Gratitude is ecstatic to have Grant’s expertise to revamp the wine and beverage program and create a new era for the Cafés, filled with organic, sustainable, naturally-made wines that align with the restaurant’s ethos, and a more refined evening menu with new dinner entrees coming soon.
Cafe Gratitude’s new Happy Hour is offered weekdays from 4 pm-6 pm with $8 wines by the glass (curated by Grant) such as Da Mar Prosecco or Souliel ‘Vin De Bonte’, and new $7-$10 bites from Chef Ellis such as Warm Almond Burrata, Korean Pulled Mushroom Sliders, Loaded Nacho Fries, Tacos, and much more!
