Visit Oceanside Launches Rewards Program for Locals
“Visitation typically slows down right after the holidays, which makes this a perfect time for San Diegans to get out and explore something new in their hometown,” said Visit Oceanside CEO Leslee Gaul. “Whether enjoying a beach staycation, our award-winning dining and craft beverage scene, or fun activities like whale watching, we want to reward residents for supporting local.”
Beginning Friday, January 13, San Diego County residents can bring an itemized receipt showing their purchase at a qualifying Oceanside business along with a valid ID showing a San Diego zip code to the California Welcome Center Oceanside and pick up a $25 Visa gift card.
Residents are eligible for the gift card one time for the dining/attractions purchase and one time for a hotel stay purchase. Purchases must be made Sunday through Thursday during the program dates. Receipts may be cumulative but must be readable and itemized with the name of business, name of purchaser, date of visit and full total. Taxes, delivery fees and gratuity are not eligible for the purchase total.
Businesses must be located within the Oceanside city limits for receipt qualification. The following business types do not meet the requirements for receipt qualification: retail, big box stores, convenience and drug stores, grocery/supermarket, fast food chains, fueling or gas stations. Other restrictions may apply.
O’side O’centives will continue through March 2023 or until funds are exhausted. Receipts will be accepted through April 7, 2023 as long as gift cards are available. For more information visit www.visitoceanside.org/oceanside-incentive-program.
