Earth Day Celebrations in San Diego


Earth Day is coming up, on April 22nd, and these San Diego spots are inviting locals out to celebrate, whether it be by helping clean the community or enjoying some themed cocktails.

On Thursday, April 20th, Duck Dive is hosting its annual PB Beach Cleanup, a great opportunity to come together and help make our beach a more beautiful place. Duck Dive is a local bar and restaurant proud to be part of the Pacific Beach neighborhood, and by hosting this event, they are making a statement about their commitment to being a responsible business for their community. The cleanup begins at 11:00 a.m. with $5 crafted Cocktail Specials featuring Humboldt Distillery and Ilegal Mezcal. barleymash, in the Gaslamp, is partnering with Cutwater Spirits to feature Pick Your Element Specialty Cocktails only available on 4/22. Earth will be created with Cutwater Vodka, creme de menthe, creme de cacao, and heavy whipping cream, while Water consists of Cutwater Rum, Blue CuraƧao, lime, pineapple, and orgeat. The Original 40 Brewing Company is the starting point for the North Park portion of I Love a Clean San Diego’s Creek to Bay Cleanup. Participants should meet at the University Avenue brewery at 8:30 a.m., and the neighborhood cleanup will occur from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. All participants will receive a free Original 40 t-shirt, as well as 40% off all beer and food after the cleanup and until 6:00 p.m. (participants can bring up to three guests to enjoy the discount).
