Coco Maya has left their mark since joining San Diego’s most dynamic food and drink scene in 2022. Overlooking the vibrant heart of Little Italy, this rooftop bar and restaurant explores the Latin America Region of the Caribbean through contemporary dishes, an immaculate atmosphere, and tasty cocktails.
This Caribbean inspired dinner menu features a variety smoked dishes straight off the Josper. The Jerk Chicken includes airline chicken plus a thigh, jerk sauce, mango-habanero butter, and cinnamon sweet potato on the side. Looking for something to split? Share the Yucatan Whole Fried Fish, seasoned in a guajillo rub, this smokey sharable is fresh off the josper and topped with habanero salsa, tropical salsa, mint, limes, and served over a bed of citrus house salad. Other Josper specialties include Coal- Fired Octopus, Alaskan Halibut, and a Sunday only, Prime Roast.
Pair your Josper experience with one of their picturesque, tasty cocktails. The El Cucuy, also known as the “Boogieman”, combines an ancestral corn whiskey with mezcal, vanilla agave, coconut balsamic, and Cacao bitters. Spread the Caribbean love with the Arbol De Familia, this for the gram cocktail tree, offers guest a choice of either five classic daiquiris or five espresso martinis. Coco Maya’s drink menu features a variety of boozy brunch cocktails, Barley & Hops, Wine, and Bubbles. Coco Maya features a Daily Brunch menu centered around Caribbean breakfast dishes, Mid-Day Affair, and a dinner transition that features a variety of plant based small plates and large format protein options. Brunch and Lunch menus are served daily until 3pm and Dinner is served Monday through Thursday from 5-9pm, Friday & Saturday from 5-10pm, and Sundays from 5-8pm. Don’t miss their Happy hour!
