National Iced Tea Day

Saturday, June 10 is National Iced Tea Day and Barrio Logan’s ReBru Spirits has its low-sugar Longball hard iced tea ready to go for San Diegans looking for a refreshing drink.

Longball is an innovative alcoholic take on the Arnold Palmer, featuring only three ingredients: apple wine, black tea, and lemon. There are no artificial sweeteners, and the drink can be consumed as a shooter or used as a liqueur or cocktail modifier.

In addition to the 750ml bottle, which can be purchased at all Total Wine & More locations in San Diego, Longball has two 12-oz. canned cocktails (Longball & Soda and Longball & Soda Double) that can be found at restaurants, bars, liquor stores, and golf courses throughout the County. Visit the Longball locator for all retail outlets where it’s available.

With six and 10 grams of sugar, respectively, in the cans, the sugar content is significantly less than a Twisted Tea (23 grams of sugar per 12-oz can) and Cutwater Margarita (27 grams of sugar per 12-oz can). Bottles and cans are also available for online purchase here.

If iced tea lovers are looking to craft their own cocktails, here are two recipes that can provide that refreshing summertime drink you need:
