Wine Pairing Dinner at Glassbox

This month, Glass Box in Del Mar is thrilled to collaborate with Argyle Willamette Valley Wines for a dinner pairing event on Monday, September 18th, starting at 6pm. Secure your spot for just $95 per person and savor a 6-course culinary journey, expertly paired with the finest Argyle wines, alongside special chef creations from San Diego’s award-winning chef, Ethan Yang. 

Each dish and wine pairing has been thoughtfully crafted to showcase the artistry and skill of Ethan Yang and Argyle. This 6-course pairing includes food items such as Sashimi, Mussel & Scallops, Maki Trio consisting of crab, negitoro, and Takuan, Miso Glazed Sea Bass, Full Blood Wagyu Beef, and Caramel Macchiato for dessert made with chocolate mousse, macadamia and hazelnut, and caramel ice cream. The Argyle wine pairings include Vintage Brut 2018, Vintage Brut Rose 2020, Pinot Noir Rose 2022, Chardonnay 2021, Reserve Pinot Noir 2021, and Blanc De Blancs 2019 for dessert. 

Glass Box is a supersize glass-walled sushi restaurant with 18 seats around the counter, and tables with another 35 seats outside the glass box. Yang takes pride in meticulously selecting the finest seafood, locally-sourced produce, and authentic Japanese ingredients to ensure an unparalleled dining experience for his guests.
