Chula Vista’s NOVO Brazil Brewing Company is holding its annual Halloween celebration on Friday, October 27 from 4:30 – 9:30 p.m. at its Lane Avenue headquarters and brewery. Second Chance Beer Company, the “Seize a Pint, Save a Pup” brewery in Carmel Mountain, is hosting its 4th-Annual Murder Mystery Beer Pairing Dinner on Saturday, October 28 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $60 and can be purchased here, and note the previous three installments sold out. The price includes four beer tastings, a three-course meal from Chef Joann Customized Catering, and, of course, the interactive murder mystery game. This year’s game is 80s themed, and Barbie and Ken are characters written into the story. Players will be given details of their character prior to the event to prepare accordingly, and it is up to the character to determine how to solve the murder.
